The royal family were decked out in style today to celebrate the annual Trooping the Colour ceremony in honour of the Queen’s birthday.

Although the Queen’s birthday is in April, the grand military parade always takes place in June to maximise chances of good weather, according to People.

While Prince William and Prince Harry looked dashing in their military uniforms and Kate Middleton was resplendent in a bright pink Alexander McQueen dress, it was the youngest family members who stole the show as usual.

Prince George, three, and Princess Charlotte, two, were in high spirits as they enjoyed the fly-past from a balcony with the rest of the family.

George wore a cute cream button-down Peter Pan collar shirt with tailored shorts and burgundy braces – perfect for the warm sunny day.

Charlotte was suitably attired for the gorgeous sunny weather. The stylish tot coordinated with her mum in a pink ditsy print dress.

While the other royals took part in the parade earlier on, George and Charlotte were seen peering out the window, eager to get a glimpse of the festivities.

Prince George was up to his usual antics, looking slightly bored as he rested his chin on his hands, however, he became more animated when the fly-past took place.

On the balcony, both children were very excited with Charlotte pointing to the crowd and looking around. George appeared to be asking his dad lots of questions about what was taking place.

The youngest royals tend to be the centre of attention wherever they go, most recently they stole the show at Pippa Middleton’s wedding with their cute outfits and adorable antics.

Page boy George and flower girl Charlotte both looked adorable, with Charlotte wearing a beautiful white dress and pretty flower crown, while George wore smart culottes, long white socks and a white shirt.

On the way out of the ceremony, the page boys and flower girls scattered confetti but it seems the task wasn’t to young George’s liking as he was seen pulling faces.

He was later seen crying as mum Kate scolded him for accidentally standing on the train of Pippa’s gown.

However, George was soon back on his best behaviour and was seen helping his little sister with her flower arrangement and politely waving to photographers on his way out of the ceremony.

These two are so cute- we can’t get enough of them!
