Just this week, Prince William commented that his home is ‘very noisy’ thanks to his little darlings, but it seems that he and wife Kate have become dab hands at dealing with the chaos.

The father-of-two was speaking at the launch of the Heads Together charity campaign in London yesterday, when he shared one of his most valuable parenting hacks with the world.

While one-year-old Princess Charlotte is apparently ‘not much of a crier’, big brother Prince George – who is almost three – ‘never slept’. William and Kate, however, developed a failsafe method for sending their firstborn off to the Land of Nod: turning the tap on!

The sound of running water seems to have had quite the calming effect on the future King of England in his early life, and we’re sure there are plenty of parents out there who can attest to the effectiveness of this calming method.

On another engagement, at the Royal Marsden Hospital, Prince William revealed that he and Kate are currently looking at schools for the little prince.

Well, does a running tap work for your little ones? Let us know!
