Life on Marbs star, Alex Weaver, has been inundated with messages of support and congratulations following the news she's expecting her first baby with her now ex-boyfriend Charles Martin.
Taking to her social media channels yesterday, the reality TV star directed fans to an article in New magazine and expressed her delight at being able to talk freely about the impending arrival.
Beginning the post with undisguised excitement, Alex wrote: "I am delighted to announce that my secret is out and me and Charles are expecting a baby boy!"
Acknowledging the turbulent nature of her relationship with her baby's father, Alex continued: "Although it was a huge shock, and we have been through some really tough times we are now excited to meet our little one."
Alex, whose relationship with Charles dissolved after she became involved with TOWIE star Dan Edgar, focussed on the positive in her post, writing: "I am really happy and excited for what the future holds."
The reality TV star expressed gratitude to family and friends for their support in recent months, writing: "I don't know what I'd do without you."
Since the big reveal, the star's social media channels have been flooded with supportive messages - something which Alex was clearly overwhelmed by.
Taking to her Twitter account again last night, the mum-to-be wrote: "Can honestly say the support I have received today has made me feel like the luckiest girl in the world. Thank you so much to everyone."
