So now that the big mystery has been solved and we finally know the name of Kim and Kanye’s son, sources have revealed the special meaning behind the moniker.
According to reports today, there was a very significant and special reason for why the star couple chose to name their second child ‘Saint’.
A source told E! News: “Saint was chosen because Kim and Kanye feel this child is truly a ‘blessing’ in their lives because she had such a difficult pregnancy.”
Kim’s fertility and pregnancy woes have been well documented over the past year. While the couple struggled to conceive baby number two, the reality star’s pregnancy was considered ‘high-risk’ due to her placenta accreta.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star gave birth to Saint last Saturday morning, announcing the news via her website.
The bets were on ‘Easton’ and even ‘South’ for the tiny tot’s name, and the delighted new parents finally revealed their choice last night.
According to the simple statement on Kim’s official site, little Saint weighed in at 8lbs 1oz.
