Congratulations are in order this evening for model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and actor Jason Statham, who have become parents for the first time!
The couple, who have been together for seven years, welcomed a son into the world last Saturday, June 24.
Model Rosie took to her social media channels to make the wonderful announcement, sharing a black and white photo of her bundle of joy, her finger in his tiny hand.
“Our little man arrived!” she wrote, going on to reveal his gorgeous name. “Jack Oscar Statham, 8.8lbs on Saturday, June 24th.”
It didn’t take long for fans of the couple, who have been engaged for over a year, to share messages of love and congratulations.
“Oh my God, oh my God! I’m so happy for you. Congrats to you both,” wrote one excited fan.
It seems as though the couple’s choice of traditional name went down well among Rosie’s seven million-strong following too, with many branding it ‘cute’ and ‘gorgeous’. We have to say that we agree on that count!
Rosie and Jason announced their lovely pregnancy news back in February, once again via social media.
Rosie, 30, took to Instagram to share the very first photo of her bump, while posing in a bikini on a stunning beach.
“Very happy to share that Jason and I are expecting! Lots of love, Rosie,” she wrote, adding that the sweet candid had been shot by her actor fiancé.
While Jason has yet to break his silence on the birth, we are sure it’s only a matter of time before he’s gushing about his newborn on the red carpet!
