Congratulations are in order! Pierre Casiraghi, son of Monaco's Princess Caroline, and Beatrice Borromeo have welcomed a new addition to their family.

Beatrice gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, a palace source confirmed to People. This is the couple's second child, as they are already parents to 14-month-old Stefano.

The newborn has quite the royal lineage. The little one is tenth-in-line to the throne and Grace Kelly's great-grandson, to boot!

His parents have given him an appropriately regal name, calling him Francesco Carlo Albert. The middle name Albert may very well be a nod to Pierre's uncle, Prince Albert II, the current monarch of Monaco.

Caroline, also known as the Princess of Hanover, must be ecstatic to have another grandchild.

Her brother Prince Albert told People of his sister's incredible maternal instinct:

“She’s a very good mother, and probably an even better grandmother now if that’s possible. She really raised her kids well."

The monarch also acknowledged his sister's strength in carrying on after Pierre's father, Stefano Casiraghi, was killed in a speedboat accident at only 30 years of age.

"Without a father for many years, that’s important," he said, "I’m incredibly proud of her children and to have them turn out as they have — that’s a tribute to her.”

Those words are so very touching. We're sure Beatrice and Pierre are just as excellent as Princess Caroline when it comes to parenting.

As well, it seems like the couple probably won't be stopping with Francesco. Beatrice has previously expressed her desire to have a big brood.

“I come from a big family, and I want children of my own," the Italian media personality told Glamour, "At the moment I’m thinking about putting my career in a place where it would not get threatened by the presence of children.”

Well, it seems now that she's ready to welcome plenty of precious bundles of joy!

Congratulations to the couple on their growing family, and welcome to the world, Francesco!
