Sophia Spencer is a little cutie who is OBSESSED with bugs and insects.
"All she talks about is bugs," says the seven-year-old's mum, Nicole.
When the Spencer family moved to a new city recently, Sophia fell victim to bullying because of her love of creepy crawlies.
Nicole was at a loss, but desperately wanted to help her daughter realise that she was not strange or weird.
The thoughtful mum decided to contact the Entomology Society of Canada (people who study insects for a living) to share her daughter's plight.
Nicole explained that she wanted Sophia to know that she was "totally cool for liking bugs" and asked the group to contact her and her daughter.
The entomology group went beyond the call of duty, and replied to Nicole saying they would Skype her little bugger!

Nicole was so overwhelmed with the reaction, saying "I can’t even describe how it makes you feel as a parent to know that all these people are encouraging your kid. I think it helps her see that everything I’ve been telling her is true."
What a heartwarming story.
