They may have hit the headlines when they revealed their intention to abstain from sex, but this star couple have found themselves at the centre of baby rumours anyway.
It was a recent live stage performance that sparked pregnancy speculation for singer Ciara and her boyfriend Russell Wilson, but the Goodies star has set the record straight this week.
Appearing on the Russ Parr Morning Show, 29-year-old Ciara rubbished reports that she is expecting in the most hilarious and refreshing way.
“You know, it’s so funny. I might have had a cheeseburger a little too close to show time. My stomach was not that big, they exaggerated that…I’m not carrying anything in my belly but great food,” said the star.
Ciara is already mum to 17-month-old son Future Zahir, her son with her former partner, rapper Future.
The mother-of-one previously confirmed that she and professional American football star Russell had decided to abstain from sex on religious grounds.
In an interview with Page Six, she said: “I feel very confident in the love that we have for each other, and only God knows where it’s going to go. God knows everything that’s to come in the future, and I think it’s best to let him keep taking control of things. Life is very sweet, and I’m very thankful for all the great things happening in my life.”
