Speaking to US magazine, Kelis revealed that she is indeed expecting baby number two and couldn't be happier about it, saying: “I’m pregnant! I’m so excited! It’s really amazing.”
Kelis, who shot to fame in the early noughties with her hit I Hate You So Much Right Now, is already the proud mum of six-year-old son Knight who she says cannot wait to meet his new sibling.
"My son is excited to be a brother and I’m thrilled," she gushed while discussing the change in family dynamic.
Like most pregnant women, the 36-year-old star is experiencing particular cravings during this exciting time in her life, but thankfully she relies on a kindly neighbour's altruistic nature in order to satisfy them.
Opening up about her current love of tomatoes, Kelis revealed: "My neighbour grows tomatoes and leaves them on my doorstep and I’ll cut them up, use salt and pepper, and just eat them like that!"
The Milkshake singer, who shares Knight with ex-husband and rapper Nas, is expecting her second child with current boyfriend Michael Mora.
