Two months after revealing that she is expecting her second child with husband Brandon Blackstock, Kelly Clarkson has shared the gender of her baby with her fans.
The Miss Independent singer took to Instagram to announce that she is expecting a son – and she did it in just about the sweetest way possible.
Posting a photo of her adorable daughter, 16-month-old River Rose, to the photo-blogging site, Kelly wrote: “In other news, River’s gonna have a little baby brother. #it’saboy We’re so excited!”

Kelly’s pregnancy announcement was delivered in rather dramatic circumstances last August, with the singer stopping midway through a song to drop the bombshell.
“I was not planning on announcing this, but…I’m totally pregnant. My makeup artist is backstage hating me right now. I just don’t want you to think I’m on pills or drunk…I’d like to apologise to my husband. That was not planned…Honestly, I’m just so hormonal today,” the 33-year-old said, crying.
