We know we’re a tad biased, but mums are amazing!
If you ever needed proof, just check out the following photo of mum Amiah Andersen breastfeeding while in labour with her second child.
Amiah invited photographer Melissa Benzel along to her water birth, and the results are nothing short of stunning.
Uploading the photo that is touching hearts all over the world, Melissa explained that Amiah went into labour with her daughter at 42 weeks.
Her toddler son was with her the entire time, and when he got hungry, Amiah didn’t hesitate to nurse him.
“Mum nursed her two-year-old during her labour which, no doubt, helped the fast delivery of her baby shortly after this shot,” wrote Melissa.
Melissa, of Benzel Photography, went on to praise the ‘beautiful and intimate moment of bonding before this sweet boy is no longer the littlest in the family’.
The image has gone viral across social media, with fellow mums dying to see the rest of the ‘spectacular’ images Melissa has from this birth.
“Amazing to see what a woman’s body is capable of!” wrote one mum, while others branded the image ‘beautiful’ and ‘breath-taking’.
