We're relating here, big time!

“It takes so little to be considered a great dad, and it also takes so little to be considered a sh***y mom.”

So says comedian Ali Wong, who has an issue with the double standards in the way we treat mums and dads.

Her spot on observations formed part of her Baby Cobra show on Netflix, which was filmed when she was seven months pregnant, and although hilarious, they’re also sadly SO incredibly true.

“People praise my husband for coming to all of my doctors’ appointments with me,” she says wryly. “Oh my God, I can’t believe he comes to all your doctor’s appointments, he is SO supportive!”

And in one fell swoop she shows just how silly and illogical, not to mention annoying this double standard is.

“Guess who else has to go to those doctor’s appointments. ME! I’m the star of the show. There’s nothing for the camera to see if I’m not there, but he’s the hero for playing Candy Crush while I get my blood drawn.”

Nailed it!
