The former glamour model and mother-of-five has admitted that she would gladly let her daughter Princess go under the knife for cosmetic surgery.
Opening up on the subject of beauty and body image in her latest interview, with ES magazine, the 36-year-old said that she would not hold her seven-year-old back, once she is 21 years of age when she is making the decision.
Katie, who recently underwent surgery for breast reduction, told the publication: “I’d never be a hypocrite and say, ‘You can’t do that’, because I did it.”
“But I wouldn’t let Princess have surgery before she was 21. I was 18 when I first had my boobs done and it was too young. There should be an age limit,” she added.
Katie previously came under fire over Princess’ image, after allowing her to straighten her naturally curly hair. Princess’ dad Peter Andre was also furious after discovering that Katie had allowed their daughter to wear false eyelashes.
Commenting at the time the photos emerged, a spokesperson for Andre told the media: “Peter totally disagrees with anything like this. He has said in the past he hates Kate colouring Junior’s hair and straightening Princess’.”
