From speculation over the legitimacy of Nia’s pregnancy and miscarriage to the revelations that Sam had an account with adultery website Ashley Madison, the past few weeks have been filled with controversy for the Rader family.
Now, just days after the vlogging couple addressed Sam’s scandal on YouTube, it has emerged that he was caught up in a public confrontation this weekend.
Sam, who became a viral sensation after ‘surprising’ wife Nia with her pregnancy news, admitted that things ‘got physical’ between himself and another vlogger at a convention in Seattle last weekend.
Explaining the situation to People magazine, Rader said that he was ridiculed by two vloggers for how his family has been mourning their recent miscarriage. When saw the vloggers at the event he decided to confront them, and was surprised by their reaction.
“I was upset but in no way was I trying to cause any physical altercation. But he got in my face and put his chest against mine and said, ‘Are you trying to start something?’ over and over,” he said, confirming that he had to be escorted out of the venue.
Eye-witnesses told Gawker that Rader was overheard threatening at least one person at the event.
I PROMISE LITERALLY NO ONE WANTS TO TRADE PLACES WITH @samandnia. There's no jealousy. You were tolerated past your welcome.

A conferences first goal should be to keep people safe and sometimes that means safe from creators. Congrats @VloggerFair for doing that.

Meanwhile, vlogger Meghan Tonjes applauded event management for ejecting Rader.
“I promise, literally no one wants to trade places with Sam and Nia. There’s no jealousy. You were tolerated past your welcome…Never seen anyone climb so high/ fall so quickly, so fast. I wasn’t gonna drag this dude, but you wanna threaten people and then play victim? Nah,” she tweeted.
