If your child is suffering from blepharitis then there are some symptoms you will notice:
- Watery eyes
- Red eyes
- A burning sensation in the eye
- Eyelids that appear greasy
- Itchy eyelids
- Red swollen eyelids
- Flaking of the skin around the eyes
- Crusted eyelashes upon wakening
- Sensitivity to light
- Loss of eyelashes or eyelashes that grow abnormally
You should consult with your G.P. if you should notice any or a combination of some of these symptoms.
