If someone was to say to you, "What kind of Christmas mum are you?" what would you say? Would you say you LOVE the season? Or would you say you can take it or leave it?

Well if you're not sure just where you fall, here is our ultimate list of the types of mums you see at Christmas:

The Super Chilled Mum

QUE SERA SERA! WHATEVER WILL BE WILL BEEEE! That’s this mum’s mantra. She’s so relaxed she’s practically horizontal. Sure, she loves Christmas, but she isn’t about to get her knickers in a twist over it. It’ll be grand she sez. Everyone will be fed she sez. Chill out it’s only one day she sez.

The Planner Mum

This mum has been preparing for this Christmas since Stephen’s Day last year. She hit the New Year sales for this year’s presents, she’s been putting away a tin of biscuits every week and she’s been buying ‘bits’ all year round. Is she mad? You won’t be saying that when at the start of December every present is wrapped and every card is written and she can smugly ‘chillax to the max’.

The Stressed Mum

“Oh God, I’ll never get everything sorted!” is what this mum will say every single day. She will panic about turkeys and relatives and will have nightmares about giving her family salmonella. Well, that is until December 25th rolls around and wrecked, she'll collapse in a chair and say, “To HELL with it! I don’t care anymore!”

The OTT Mum

Deck the halls with boughs of holly! And the kitchen. And the bathroom. And under the stairs. Even the car has a mini Christmas tree on the dashboard and antlers stuck on the wing mirrors.

The More of a Child than the Children Mum

This mum also shares characteristics with the OTT mum. She’s wearing Christmas jumpers in October, blasting Christmas FM all day every day and watching Christmas movies in her snowman onesie. Deep down she even believes in Santa.

The Grinch Mum

Okay, so she’s not really a Grinch, but she think Christmas has become a load of commercial codswallop. She’ll go on non-stop about how it’s a Hallmark holiday and a waste of money and then will finally give in on Crimbo morning and eat turkey and watch Home Alone with the best of them and have the time of her life.

Can you spot yourself in these mums? Which one are you? Or are you a mix of some? Or of all? TELL US ALL YOUR SECRETS.
