Actor Eddie Murphy recently revealed he is to be a dad for the 10th time.
Murphy and his partner Paige Butcher are expecting a baby this December, and now the happy couple has chosen to announce the gender of their newborn, ahead of the due date.
News of Paige’s pregnancy was confirmed by the Beverly Hills Cop star’s representative last month, who said:
“Eddie Murphy and longtime girlfriend Paige Butcher are pleased to announce that they are expecting their second child in December.”
Now Paige has confirmed they are set to welcome a baby boy. “It’s going to be a boy,” she told TMZ.
When asked if the pair were excited, the 39-year-old said: "Yes, we are!"
This is Eddie and Paige’s second child. The couple, who have been in a long-term relationship since 2012, are parents to two-year-old Izzy.
The 57-year-old Shrek star already has five children with ex-wife Nicole Murphey, who he split from after 22 years of marriage in 2006 - Bria, 28, Miles, 25, Shayne, 23, Zola, 18, and Bella, 16,
He also has a 29-year-old son, Eric with Paulette McNeely, as well as a son Christian, 27, with Tamara Hood.
He and Spice Girls singer Mel B also have an 11-year-old daughter Angel following a brief relationship.
