Meghan Markle admitted that she cannot wait for this brand-new chapter of her life, but the former actress has to make so many different changes in her life when she becomes an official member of the royal family.

She has waved goodbye to her career as an actress, she has deleted all of her social media accounts, and it has recently been revealed that she is not allowed to hug members of the public unless it has been recommended.

However, Meghan has looked past the (outdated) rules by embracing a member of the public during her visit to Scotland.

During their trip, the Suits actress hugged Alice Thompson, who is the co-founder of homeless charity Social Bite, despite the royal protocol.

This rule is in place for the sake of the royal’s safety, however, we feel like it’s a tad old-fashioned.

This news has made us love Meghan even more, she has proved to the public that she is beyond genuine.

Plus, this isn’t the first time she broke royal protocol. Rumours have been circulating about Harry and Meghan’s wedding, with people speculating that the bride-to-be will deliver a speech on the special day.

Usually, the father-of-the-bride, the best man and the groom are the only people who have the honour of delivering a speech at a royal wedding, however, it looks like Meghan may be breaking that tradition when she ties the knot.

Prince Harry and Meghan are due to get married on May 19, at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle, England.
