While fans and followers of Adam Brody and Leighton Meester were today overjoyed to hear the popular couple had welcomed a baby into the life they share together, members of the public were left wondering as to whether a little boy or little girl had joined the Meester / Brody clan.
Well, according to emerging reports from the US, celebrity site TMZ have obtained the child's birth certificate and it has been revealed that Leighton and Adam are now the proud parents of a little girl.
Further to this, it has been revealed that Leighton became a mum for the first time on September 4th - weeks earlier than recent reports have suggested.
According to the site who published the child's documents, the popular stars have chosen to name their baby daughter Arlo Day.
It is understood little Arlo Day, who is now three weeks old, was born in Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.
