I'm driven crazy by my children asking for snacks before they have even finished their lunch!

I try to encourage fruit or healthy snacks but I am always on the lookout for new and interesting ways to make veggies fun.

That's why when we came across this super blog called Babies That Brunch by Elizabeth and George (her 18-month-old son) we fell in love with her quirky recipes that are baby-friendly and very appealing for kiddies of all ages.

Now we have it most days with cucumbers or carrots as dip or in my children's lunchboxes. It is also the perfect snack for when I come home in the evenings to keep hangry thoughts away!

Try it and you will know what we mean.

What you need:

1 tin of drained chickpeas

1/2 tin of water

4 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp of garlic puree

3 sundried tomatoes

A touch of pepper

What you do:

Pop it into the blender and blend to your heart's content

How to serve:

A dollop on a plate with raw veggies, crackers or on warm toast.

Enjoy!
