He has spent the past few weeks gushing over his new son, so we're betting that Liam Payne was very excited indeed about his first Father's Day. Luckily for him, his other half, Cheryl, chose to make the day very special.
The former Girls Aloud star, who has been notoriously private about the couple's son, Bear Grey, took to Instagram to pay a touching tribute to the Strip That Down singer.
Posting a photo of the new dad on the photo-blogging site, the 33-year-old gushed: "Happy first Father's Day Liam... You are the most amazing daddy and the best example for our son.
"The way he looks at you says it all. Your relationship melts my heart. You are the centre of his world, and we adore you."
Wow - you can't ask for a better appraisal, can you? Can we also just have a moment for the sweet 'teddy bear' emoji that Cheryl added in to her caption? Hearts. Melted.
Of course, Liam has been all-abuzz about his three-month-old son while on the promotional trail for his debut solo single. The former One Direction star has gushed about fatherhood - and Cheryl - at every turn, and given some truly touching insights into life with his little one.
Shortly after Bear's birth, the 23-year-old admitted that life with a newborn had come as quite the shock - mainly when it comes to the amount of nappies Bear has gone through!
Ever the joker, Liam tweeted: "When the fourth nappy happens in five minutes..." Haven't we all been there, mums?!
Nappy-explosions aside, he admitted that his life was 'forever changed' since welcoming his bundle of joy, saying: "He's amazing, honestly. I even notice a change in my voice when I talk about him - it's different.
"Waking up in the morning is just a totally different thing now, I sat with him all this morning watching cartoons that he doesn't really understand yet but it's wonderful."
However or wherever he celebrated, we're sure today was extra-special for Liam. We hope that he - and dads everywhere - enjoyed their day!
