Brigitte Gonzalez was driving down the US 441 north of Miami when she noticed everyone around her was honking.

Eventually, she realised that the driver right next to her was out of control.

“I saw the lady and she was having a stroke, a seizure,” Brigitte told WSVN. “She was foaming out of the mouth. She was just shaking. Then I saw her daughter, and that’s when I guess it hit me in my heart that I was like, have to stop her.”

And stop her she did, by driving her car into the other woman’s. Brigitte, pictured above, slowed down and hit her as lightly as she could but “enough to stop her.”

Fortunately, her efforts paid off. While Nakia Moore’s Nissan isn’t looking too good right now, she’s alive and so is her little girl.

Nakia is adamant that Brigitte is the reason she and her child are still here today.

“I’m just grateful for her, I thank God for her,” Nakia said.

While Brigitte knows things could have ended badly for her herself, she has no regrets about intervening.

“I don’t care so much about the car,” she said. “I just want her and her daughter to be OK.”
