Johnny Galecki has already hit a major milestone recently; The Big Bang Theory is airing it's final episode in a matter of weeks after being on air for an incredible 12 years.
The actor has announced some exciting news on Instagram; his newest role will be as a dad. He took to the social media site to announce that himself and girlfriend, Alaina Meyer, are expecting their first child together.
The pair have been dating since September of last year, but are yet to tie the knot despite rumours which circulated late in 2018.
Galecki wrote alongside an adorable image of himself and his girlfriend;
“We are absolutely over the moon to announce that we will soon be welcoming a little one into this crazy and wonderful world.
“We ask that you please respect our privacy during this celebratory time for us and our families. There truly is love out there for all. We hope ours is the ember of yours, as we feel yours is the ember of ours.”
The couple look absolutely over the moon at the news, we can't wait to see the photos of their newborn with Galecki's fellow cast-mates.
Judging by how smitten Johnny and Alaina look together, we could be hearing wedding news sooner rather than later.
Congratulations to the delighted pair. It definitely seems that as one door closes for the actor, another one opens, and it's even more exciting.
