She's back!

After taking time to welcome her first child, Paloma has returned with some fresh tracks.

Although that isn't the only thing the recording artist is sharing with us.

Paloma during an interview, got refreshingly honest about her experience of becoming a mum.

The 36-year-old has decided to keep her child's age and gender private.

In her first interview with i newspaper, the singer gets brutally real about motherhood.

"Don’t get me wrong, I love my child, but it’s hell," explained the artist.

Opening up about the range of emotions and new dynamics that comes with a newborn, she said:

"It doesn’t matter how much help you’ve got, no one can explain how lonely it feels at night when you’re waking up breast-feeding and you spend hours just wired on your own.

Your hormones are going mad and your husband is usually snoring next to you. There’s so much resentment."

As Paloma gets back to making music, her husband, Leyman Lachine will take on the responsibility of minding their child when she is working.

Speaking about the shift in schedules she said:

‘It’s really refreshing and uplifting and wonderful to see a man taking responsibility for a portion of your family life.

I don’t think it was realistic to think that he might ever be able to match me financially, but he’s matched me in another way," she added.

I think we can all relate to her struggle!
