We would love the chance to revisit to the kooky town of Pawnee. Nothing would bring us more joy than wearing our Lil Sebastian t-shirts with pride while devouring a tower of waffles from J.J.'s Diner.

Sadly, though, we've been left wanting ever since the series ended in 2015. Nothing can fill the Parks and Rec-shaped hole in our hearts.

Well, there may actually be some good news in that department! Nick Offerman (the inimitable Ron Swanson) and Amy Poehler (Leslie Knope, of course) recently appeared on The Ellen Show to promote their new TV competition series, Making It, and they mentioned our dearly departed sitcom.

Ellen DeGeneres spoke of how Will & Grace was revived after years of being off-air, and Amy said that likewise Parks and Rec could return 'anytime'.

Nick said jokingly, "We just had a fitting earlier. We said that if Beyoncé would play the mayor, we'll bring the show back. This is Beyoncé Knowles, the singer, the entertainer."

And Amy, in true Leslie Knope fashion, gave us plenty of hope with her follow-up statement.

"I'll speak for everybody and say we would all do it," the mum-of-two declared, "I think we'd all do it someday, it would be amazing."

"Amy's the boss of the show so…" Nick replied.

We are utterly THRILLED! Please excuse us while we binge all seven seasons in preparation.
