Beyoncé’s mum Tina Lawson recently became a proud grandmother for the third time to the singer’s twins Sir and Rumi.

The doting grandma now has four little ones to spoil, Solange’s son 12-year-old Daniel Julez Smith, five-year-old rapper-in-the-making Blue Ivy Carter and the twins who are now three months old.

Tina told US Weekly that she was “so happy” to become a grandmother again.

“They are amazing,” she told the magazine at the Habitat for Humanity Builder’s Ball in Beverly Hills.

“They’re very young but they like to touch and they’re adorable and just beautiful and healthy and I’m just so happy”, she gushed.

Tina also revealed that despite the five-year age gap, Blue Ivy is a doting big sister and adores her little siblings.

“She’s doing amazing! She’s a big sister and she feeds them and she’s excited. And she feels responsible for them being here because she prayed for them”, Tina said. How sweet is that?!

Initially rumours had circulated that the couple had called the twins Shawn and Bea, however, it later emerged they had gone for completely different choices.

Jay-Z recently revealed why the couple had chosen the unusual names of Sir and Rumi for the twins.

During a chat on Rap Radar podcast, the rapper explained: "Rumi is our favourite poet, so it was for our daughter”.

“And then Sir was, like, man, come out the gate. He carries himself like that. He just came out, like, Sir”.

Beyoncé recently showed off a rather bling-tastic tribute to her three beautiful children. While attending a Bruno Mars concert in Madison Square Garden, the star took to Instagram to share her outfit and jewellery for the event.

As well as her ubiquitous hoop earrings and a gold chain necklace, Bey also sported an eye-catching trio of diamond rings featuring the initials of her little ones.

In a still from a video shared to her Instagram, Beyoncé zoned in on the gorgeous ring stack, dedicated to her growing brood.

We can’t wait to see more of little Sir and Rumi as they grow up!
