Congratulations are in order for actor George Clooney and his lawyer wife, Amal – they have reportedly become parents!
According to a statement released to Access Hollywood, the loved-up couple have welcomed their twins – a boy and a girl, as previously rumoured.
“This morning, Amal and George welcomed Ella and Alexander Clooney into their lives,” read the statement, shared across Twitter this evening.

“Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine. George is sedated and should recover in a few days.”
We’re presuming that that last bit is a joke! Although, as our hubbies will attest to, standing by the bedside as your child or children enter the world can be downright traumatic!
We are so delighted for the couple, who announced their baby news back in March.
While the couple have largely stayed out of the spotlight throughout Amal’s pregnancy, Ocean’s 11 star George couldn’t help but gush as he shared an update, recently.
He told Extra: “She is doing really great. She is amazing.
“I don’t have to do anything. There is nothing I can do to help but make tea and stuff. I know swaddling…I know what I’m in for.”
