A car seat is one of the most important things you will ever buy your baby, and how it looks should never take priority over safety at any stage of the game.
But with that said we couldn't resist sharing this cool looking seat created by designers in the States.
The Kioma is made from the same carbon fibres as those used in the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, which makes it extremely lightweight and safe.
The seat also uses a roll bar instead of a typical handle which acts as an added safety feature and gives it its really sleek look.
According to the website: "The roll bar helps to protect the child in vehicle accidents, and non-motor vehicle accidents such as caregiver falls, and drops and falls from raised surfaces (such as a table or bed)."
The new design came about after Christopher Gay threw his kid's car seat in frustration after he hurt his hand trying to clean it.
And most of us can/ will relate to his annoyance at least once in our life.
Biscuits, juice and general goo tend to congeal in every nook and cranny in your little one's seat.
And any ridges or gaps will be filled with something sticky pretty soon after you buckle your little one in.
And then you'll send a good portion of your weekend trying to fish the icky stuff out.
But there are no little gaps in this seat - it's created from a single piece of aerospace material.
The "futuristic, rear-facing carbon fibre pod" has been designed for newborns to 18-month-olds, but will set you back quite a lot.
Like between $1000 and $2500 to be exact.
Looks cool though.
