Cork’s Dr Doireann O’Leary is hosting a gorgeous giveaway – and it’s for a good cause too!
The GP and Instagram doctor announced the giveaway on her Instagram page, letting fans know it is all in aid of the Munster paediatric unit at Cork University Hospital. Fans can donate €10 to the KareFund campaign linked in her bio to be in with a chance to win some amazing prizes, which include make-up vouchers, jewellery and hotel nights away!
She posted a Christmassy picture to announce the giveaway, captioning it; ‘I’ve been working with @karefund_irl to help to raise vital funds for CUH Children’s Unit. Having worked on the paediatric ward with the incredible and inspiring patients, families and staff, this cause is close to my heart.’
‘@karefund_irl and I are hoping to raise vital funds for the paediatric operating theatre in CUH so lifesaving operations can be done. We’re hoping you can help us with this important initiative to support the children and families who attend this very special ward. Having a sick child is one of the most difficult things any person can go through. We’re trying to make it a little bit easier for any family who has to go through it.’
The worthy cause has already raised over €6,000 of €10,000 it needs, showing the health podcaster’s major influence.
