Mindy Kaling became a mum for the first time in 2017 and she is loving every minute of it.
The actor and writer welcomed her gorgeous daughter Katherine into the world but has kept certain things about her private.
While she posts cute snaps of the pair to her social media, she never shows her little ones face.
And when it comes to her daughters' dad, she is keeping tight-lipped.
The 39-year-old opened up to New York Times magazine about why she wants to keep his identity quiet.
She said, ''My feeling is that until I speak to my daughter about that, I’m not going to talk to anyone else about it.''
Mindy didn't list a dad on Katherine’s birth certificate, and she wasn’t in a public relationship at the time of her birth.
But one thing is for sure - she adores motherhood.
She said ''I’m very impatient, and having a baby requires an amount of patience that I was worried about.''
She continued, ''But they don’t tell you that the thing will look so much like you, and do things that are so sweet and adorable, that you’ll naturally not have the same impatience that you would have with a stranger or someone who works for you.''
We love her words on parenthood - Katherine is a lucky baby to have Mindy as her mum.
