When this mother-of-two’s sister started over-producing milk, she tried to think of a way to make use of the breast milk.

Starting by adding it to her beauty products, Jasmine Overton used the skincare creations to soften her skin as well as reduce redness, oiliness, acne, sensitivity and itchiness.

Developing that idea further, Jasmine decided to start using the breast milk to make soap.

Using defrosted breast milk and natural oils, Jasmine created the unique soap which became a huge success with friends who had excess milk to use.

The mum is now hoping to turn the breast milk soap into a bespoke business allowing other mums to turn their own milk into other products.

Starting with family and friends, Jasmine says it wasn’t long until she was getting new customers looking for something to soothe their child’s skin.

Now selling the product at markets, Jasmine has named the venture after her nine-year-old daughter Rosie calling it ‘Rosie Posie Handcrafted Creations’.
