This photo of Stacey Solomon perfectly shows the reality of being a new mum

Stacey Solomon recently welcomed her adorable son Rex into the world with boyfriend Joe Swash earlier in the month, and she can't help but get candid about life as a new mum.

Joe shared an intimate photo of his exhausted girlfriend, who had passed out cold on the couch after yet another sleepless night.

The 29-year-old has been brutally honest about life as a new parent on her social media accounts, and former EastEnders star Joe found Stacey fast asleep yet again.

Joe shared the photos to his Instagram account, captioning the snaps;

"I promise this photo is 100 percent NOT set up! This was exactly how I found Stacey Solomon when I got back from the gym. Well deserved."

Stacey commented on the photos to her own followers, referring to a day as a "total write-off."

She wrote: "I had so many plans and executed zero of them... I’m so behind with pumping, Barely getting enough off in time for feeds

"Looking out the window at the moment, dreading the sun going down. Thank goodness it’s summer! Did anyone else feel like that?" she asked.

Stacey is also mum to two lovely boys; seven-year-old Leighton and 11-year-old Zachary. It's been a while since she's had to immerse herself in the world of a newborn baby

The mum-of-three continued; "I needed to sleep so badly today but I get sad when I sleep through the day and I wake up and it’s nearly night time!"

Somehow, Stacey was able to see the positive side of life and made sure to mention that "tomorrow is a new day".

The hilarious TV personality also accused Joe of staging the picture by putting the pillow on her head; "If you think I believe for one second that that pillow just happened to be there - you’re wrong!

"I'll get you back, right after I get my mind back!" she added, mischievously. It's such a relief to see such a warm-hearted and relatable mum open up about the reality of parenthood.
