Earlier this week, she said she is ‘done’ having children, and it seems Kelly Clarkson was not messing about.
Indeed, the Breakaway singer has revealed that both she and her husband, Brandon Blackstock, have undergone procedures to ensure they do not have any more children.
In an interview on The Jenny McCarthy Show, the 34-year-old revealed that she had her tubes tied and her husband underwent a vasectomy after son Remi’s birth, six months ago.
She recalled: “I was literally pregnant with Remi, and I was like, ‘You are getting fixed. This will never happen to me again.’”
“If something happens, it’s a miracle of God. I literally told my OBGYN on the table while open, ‘If I get pregnant again, I will find you!’” she added.
Kelly made the decision after enduring two gruelling pregnancies with two-year-old daughter River Rose, and Remi.
In her latest interview, Kelly described pregnancy as ‘horrible’, adding: “I will remind my children every day of their lives what I went through.”
At this point, we think it’s important to remind mums and mums-to-be everywhere that not every pregnancy experience is like Kelly’s!
