Toddler's reaction to her shadow goes viral

When you're a child and just becoming acquainted with the world, it's natural to be a little uncertain about some things - and shadows evidently fall within this category!

 

A toddler has become a viral internet sensation this weekend, after a video of her heartbreaking but hilarious reaction to her own shadow was shared with the Facebook community.

 

The original Facebook posting carries the caption "wait for it", and it's as if someone flicked a switch as this poor little tot begins crying on sight of her shadow.

 

Of course, for all of the running she does around the carpark, there is just no getting away from that nuisance of a shadow!

 

If the comments underneath the post are anything to go by, pretty much everyone is feeling the same way about the video - torn between mild amusement and major sympathy for the poor tot.
