He is one of the most doting celebrity dads in the showbiz world, and Tom Fletcher’s adorable relationship with son Buzz never fails to delight us.
It seems that becoming a father has resonated on a deeper level with the McBusted singer however, and he has opened up about the life-changing impact of the role this week.
In an interview with The Mirror, the star – whose wife Giovanna is expecting their second child – credited Buzz with helping him to beat his depression.
“I was taking medication, but I don’t anymore. Having a kid has really helped me in my life. It gives you a sense of needing to be stable,” explained Tom.
The 30-year-old added: “It’s not about you anymore, it’s about this child that you’ve decided to bring into the world. You don’t have any choice but to cope with life because you’re doing it for someone else. I was very ready for that before Buzz was born.”
Tom and Giovanna welcomed little Buzz back in March 2014. In September of this year, the couple announced their second pregnancy with a clever video game-inspired video.
