Bella & Jos

Bella and Jos is an online traditional wooden toy shop. We are a small company run by mums for mums, with 8 children between us we feel that we know which toys get picked out of the toy box most often. We hand pick toys from around the world that will capture the imagination and inspire children in their creative play.

 

We have chosen to focus on wooden toys because it is smooth, warm and solid to touch. It is very hard wearing and will withstand a considerable amount of vigorous play. Wood is very easy to clean and will not harbour harmful bacteria. We also want to help to ensure that traditional wooden toys remain a part of childhood and hopefully many of the toys bought from us will become family heirlooms that generations of children will enjoy. We are also proud to say that none of our toys require batteries!

 

Our criteria for the brands that we sell is simple: we love them and would buy them for our kids.
