Being a new mum is exhausting, overwhelming and non-stop, so anything that makes our lives easier is always WELCOMED.

Whether it's trying to find a way to keep the household chores down to a minimum, figuring out how to move Baby without waking them or making less work for yourself, these eight baby hacks will make your life a lot less hectic.

1. Put a hook on the back of your baby’s highchair to keep bibs together

This way you will always have a bib to hand when it comes to feeding time - it also means you'll ALWAYS know where they are!

2. Clean toys in the dishwasher

Stressed out trying to keep your baby’s toys clean and germ-free? Well, throw them all into the dishwasher and they’ll be sparkling clean in no time at all.

3. Skip the back ache and clean your little one in a basin in the sink

Just make sure it is a plastic, low-sided basket though!

4. Get yourself two baby bags: one for the car and one for the house

This way you'll never forget it when heading off for a few hours - just make sure it is constantly being topped up with nappies and cream!

5. Don't wake Baby when taking them out of the car seat by investing in a Snugglebundl

Not only has it been cleverly designed to allow you to move Baby without waking them, the Snugglebundl supports their head and keeps them warm when outside. It has also received the official seal of approval having been awarded with a certificate acknowledging car seat safety so you know they are in safe hands.

6. Bath toys

They may not be able to use the toys just yet but by glueing the hole on the outside it will stop them constantly leaking and getting mouldy.

7. Pop a baby mirror in the back of your car

Perfect for when your little one sounds fussy and you can’t turn your head to check on them. Also, they’ll be able to see you as well - if positioned correctly - so you can go all out making funny faces or gurgling noises!

8. Warm up your wipes

Nobody likes having something cold and nasty on their skin, much less a baby, so warm up your little one's wipes by holding them in your hands for a few seconds before using them.
