The presenter, who is expecting her first child with actor and comedian husband Johnny Vegas, took to her social media channels to update followers on her journey – in typical, hilarious fashion.
Posting a selfie shot to Twitter, the 38-year-old commented on her outfit and her blooming bump as she wrote: “Jumper from Mothercare. Bump from outer space…”
Given how Maia announced her pregnancy, with a cheeky photo of a baby with a pint of Guinness resting on its tummy, it would only be right for her to follow up with such classic humour.

Maia announced the news of her pregnancy back in January, going on to reveal shortly after that she and Johnny are expecting a son.
Throughout her pregnancy, Maia has been refreshingly honest regarding her thoughts and experiences, even admitting that she felt sad when she first discovered that she was expecting.
“It was awful. It kind of felt like the end of something rather than the start of something,” she said, revealing that her career was her main concern.
However, she went on to add: “But the second I could start talking to people about it, it reminded me of how joyful it actually is.”
