If you were left wondering when your favourite baker Mary Berry would be returning to your screens, wonder no more.

The former Great British Bake Off judge won't be moving to Channel 4 when the show heads over there, but has decided to stay with the BBC, who have dedicated not one but two new shows to her.

Yes, this year, Mary will be gracing our screens in Secrets From Britain's Great Houses and Mary Berry Everyday, and while the dates have yet to be released we CANNOT wait for either.

Secrets From Britain's Great Houses is a six-part series which will see Mary visit a different house each week, covering both upstairs and downstairs, the gardens, kitchens and private rooms.

“I am so excited to be doing this new series with the BBC - I have always had an enquiring mind so I know I will be inspired by the great houses we visit," she said, following the announcement by the BBC.

Details of her second show have yet to be revealed but considering the baker will also be releasing a book by the same name, Mary Berry Everyday, we can just imagine what gloriousness it is going to be.

"I am thrilled to reveal the cover of my brand-new cookbook, Mary Berry Everyday,” the 81-year-old announced on Facebook.

"With over 120 delicious recipes from the anticipated 2017 BBC series, Mary Berry Everyday will show you how to inject a little Mary magic into your everyday cooking. Out on 26 January 2017."

So, let’s dust off our mixers - 2017 looks set to be a busy year for us foodies!
