As parents, we do our level best to ensure bad language doesn't creep into our childrens' vocabulary, and yet on the very rare occasion that a less-than-appropriate word is used, it can be inexplicably funny.

Proving this point on social media in recent days,Stu the Copywriter, the father of an adorable two-year-girl, uploaded footage of his daughter attempting (and ultimately failing) to sound out some new words in a move which has delighted the wider public.

Upon being asked to pronounce the word 'skunk', Stu's daughter answers confidently, blissfully unaware she is in fact dropping the C-bomb over and over again.

Commenting on the footage which has gone viral in recent days, Stu explained to the Mail Online: "We were at Center Parcs on a family holiday. I was playing with my two-year-old, opening the doors on the Animal Guess Who game. She identified the cat, dog, horse all with no problem."

"I then opened the door of the skunk and she dropped the C-bomb!" he continued. "My first thought was 'Where's my phone?' And she did it again - and again and again."

Insisting that his daughter's potty-mouth is nothing more than a linguistic stumbling block, Stu explained: "We don't swear in front of our children, and she had no idea what she was saying. As far as she was concerned, she was just saying skunk."

Let's face it, we've all witnessed similar in our own homes.
