Since they were born, Jimmy and Jace have seen everything in monochrome. That’s because the teen brothers are both colour-blind.
But recently, their parents bought them a pair of EnChroma, a brand of glasses that purports to correct for some forms of mild colour blindness.
And they appear to have worked for the boys. In the emotional video, dad holds up a rainbow-coloured towel. First, eldest son Jimmy tries on the glasses.
“What do you see?,” mum asks.
But Jimmy is too overwhelmed to answer, and covers his face with his hands in shock. Then the tears come.
He hugs his brother Jace, who is emotional on his brother’s behalf – and becomes even more so once he tries the glasses on for himself.
