Teenagers seem to have a magical ability to navigate the inner workings of the most complicated smart phones.
They can do all kinds things with an iPad that would make us cry witchcraft.
But what about when they're confronted with some proper old-school technology? Well that's made for comedic gold.
Mum-of-three, Kimberly Phillips posted an extremely relatable video of her teenage son, Braylon, struggling to successfully dial a rotary phone.
The results are hilarious as he repeatedly fails to figure out how it works.
We can see him get increasingly frustrated and embarrassed as his mum giggles in the background.
Eventually Braylon resorts to a more familiar form of technology, whipping out his smart phone to call the rotary phone to see if it's working.
In the accompanying Facebook post, Phillips wrote:
"Okay so when your knowledgeable tech guy tries to operate old school technology!!!! This s**t was priceless."
