Warwick Davis has suffered heartache that a parent should never have to endure.
The Harry Potter actor and his wife Samantha lost two sons, Lloyd and George, shortly after birth. The boys inherited two forms of dwarfism from the mum and dad, Hello! Magazine reports.
"Prior to Annabelle and Harrison, we had a baby boy, Lloyd, who inherited both our conditions… and that is something that proves fatal," the 48-year-old shared on ITV's Bear’s Mission with Warwick Davis.
He continued, "It's something that a baby won't survive. But Lloyd, he survived for nine days, but yeah he was beautiful… but it was a tough time. And yeah, we had a stillborn too."
What an amazing night the World Premiere of @StarWars #TheLastJedi. The fans were fantastic, seeing old friends was lovely, and the movie was incredible! The humour, the action and the overall ‘starwarsiness’ was outstanding. The Force is strong with @rianjohnson. Bravo! #Porg pic.twitter.com/rmN3um2t4o

Warwick and Samantha are now parents to Annabelle, 21, and Harrison, 15.
He himself was born with spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia congenita (SED), while his wife has a form of dwarfism called achondroplasia.
Speaking with the Daily Mail about losing Lloyd, the father said that they'd never gotten over the loss of their child.
Wishing my wife, the beautiful @SammyDDavis the happiest of birthdays today. You brighten my life and the lives of everyone you meet. Thank you for being you and for making the world a better place. I love you. x pic.twitter.com/Ysx6zP72So

The Willow star added, "But, and it may sound like an odd thing to say, we are better people for it. I think you develop a certain empathy when you've been through what we have. It could easily have broken us, but it didn't. If anything we became stronger as a couple."
After George was stillborn, Samantha gave birth to Annabelle, who has SED and was in special care for two months. Harrison was also born with SED.
We are so impressed with Warwick and Samantha's strength. Our hearts go out to any parent has experienced the devastation of losing a child.
