When he was just seven-months-old, Gideon Jolicoeur was diagnosed with Peroxisomal Biogenesis Disorder.

A rare, terminal genetic disorder, it has left him legally blind and "severe to profoundly deaf".

His parents, Kevin and Samantha document his life in a bid to share the joyful moments they have with him and have uploaded numerous videos to YouTube and posts to their blog, Life with a Happy Heart, talking about life with Gideon, his older sister and his younger brother.

One post that has really touched us is a video of Kevin comforting Gideon before they received his PBD.

And it is the sweetest thing ever.

As you can see in the clip, Kevin blows on his son's neck and he instantly stops crying.

And when dad stops, the youngster becomes upset again.

It was only after they were informed about his condition that Kevin and Samantha really understood why this trick helped him so much.

"Before we got his PBD diagnosis, we found it odd that this was the ONLY way we could stop Gideon from crying," the mum-of-three wrote under the video.

"Once we knew he was blind and deaf, this made so much more sense! He still loves this, and is now four years old!"

Such a wonderful happy video.
