Serena Williams is an utter inspiration: Olympic gold medalist, winner of 39 Grand Slam titles, an accomplished athlete, and a loving mum of one.
Now the tennis champ is giving the public an intimate view of her life with a new five-part HBO documentary series, Deadline reports.
The doc, called Being Serena, will explore her recent journey into motherhood and marriage, as well as her return to the court.
"When I realised I was pregnant, I was like, 'Oh my god, how am I going to play?'" the 36-year-old says in the 45-second teaser trailer.
Serena has always strived to be on top, she notes in the video: "I put so much pressure on myself. I want to make sure I am the best."
The new mum recently returned to the sport she loves so much after giving birth to her daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr, and marrying her husband Alexis Ohanian.
It's been a rocky road back to the tennis court, especially considering the medical issues Serena battled during her pregnancy.
"I don't know if there's anything left for me in tennis," she reflects in the trailer as clips from vital scenes in her life flit by, "But I am not done yet."
Being Serena, produced by HBO Sports and IMG's Original Content group, is set to premiere on May 2. We will keep you up-to-date on when it will be released for international audiences.
