Kevin and Karen Clifton have confirmed that they will divorce after three years of marriage. The professional dancers shared the news with Chris Evans during an interview on his radio breakfast show.
Despite their separation, they admitted that they will continue to dance together as their professional relationship is still thriving.
Speaking of their separation, Kevin revealed, “Privately we are not together anymore but professionally we are stronger than ever before.”
The Strictly Come Dancing duo shared that they will go ahead with their May dance tour, despite their break-up, “Dance is how we came together and is what glues us together.”
The ballroom dancer added that they are still the best of friends, “We still have a lot of love and respect for each other.”
He went on to explain that since they were honest about their relationship they have “unlocked our creativity."

They have decided not to let their divorce get in the way of their dancing career, with Karen stating that they want to give back to their fans.
“We have such strong chemistry and it's about entreating and inspiring. At the end of the day, it's about giving back to fans. We're feeling very positive,” she shared.
Kevin proposed to Karen during a live performance of Burn The Floor, with the pair getting married in 2015.
