When we sleep, we dream, and when we dream, we go on a series of far-flung, often crazy adventures.
But unbeknownst to this tot, he really IS going on magical adventures as he slumbers.
As soon as he enters dreamland, California mum and artist Sioin Queenie Liao places baby Wengenn in fantastical, fairytale backgrounds.
“Every day just before Wengenn’s nap, I would imagine him being the main character in one of my favourite episodes, and ‘paint’ a background setting with plain clothes, stuffed animals, and other common household materials, just like how an artist would with her paint brushes,” she says.
“After Wengenn fell asleep, I would place him at the centre of the theme I’d created and start taking pictures. My vision was to create a series of photos portraying him exploring his imaginary, enchanting fairytale-like world.”
And they’re just amazing, with each one more creative than the last.
