There is a lot of celebrity baby news this week!
Firstly, we would like to congratulate Jamie Cullum and his wife Sophie Dahl who welcomed the arrival of their second daughter. The couple have named their new daughter Margot and musician Jamie Tweeted “"She is healthy and gorgeous and we are completely thrilled." Model and celebrity chef Sophie gave birth to the couple’s first child, Lyra, two years ago.
Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria have revealed they are expecting a baby girl. Yoga instructor Hilaria said on TV show ‘Extra’ “Alec and I are overjoyed that we are going to be welcoming a little girl into our lives.”
Another celeb who has announced the sex of their baby is Jessica Simpson. Jessica hadn’t planned on announcing the gender, however while on Jimmy Kimmel Live! she let the gender slip when saying "I never knew a wiener could actually make me nauseous." Classic Jessica Simpson moment we think!
Jessica wasn’t the only one to let the gender of her baby slip. Kate Middleton has also set off rumours that she is expecting a girl. While visiting Grimsby earlier this week, The Duchess of Cambridge was given a teddy from a member of the crowd. When accepting the teddy, Kate replied “Thank you, I’ll take that for my d…” before stopping herself. Diana Burton told newspapers, “I said to her, ‘'You were going to say daughter, weren't you?' and she said, 'No, we don't know'. 'I said, "Oh I think you do", to which she said, "We're not telling".'
One celebrity who says she won’t be revealing the sex of her baby is Katie Price. Katie said ''I've always known the sex of my kids in advance but this time it will be a surprise as I already have boys and a girl and it's Kieran's first so he doesn't want to know yet.''
In other baby news, Kim Kardashian was rushed to hospital when she thought she was having a miscarriage. However, her sister Khloe has said that Kim and her baby are both fine saying “A lot of you have expressed concern in the recent hours about Kim, and I just wanted to let you all know that mommy and baby are doing fine and just taking it easy right now.”
Finally, it has also been reported that Sophie Vergara and her fiancé Nick Loeb are expecting a baby via surrogate. The Modern Family star is rumoured to become a mother with the help of an unidentified woman. According to reports, Sophia has selected a close friend to carry her baby.
