Expecting twins, Brian Ratliff and his wife decided to have big gender reveal party to celebrate their growing family.
However, we’re sure the dad was not expecting to be left sitting on the grass with his hands in his ears, after their reveal goes a bit wrong.
In video uploaded to YouTube, you can see Brian and his wife standing behind two boxes: Baby A and Baby B.
Starting with Baby B, they open the box to reveal pink balloons with Brian letting off a pink smoke bomb.
All’s good until he moves on to the second box: Baby A.
It is here, when he tries to let the smoke bomb go off, that things start to go terribly wrong!
Sitting on the ground the dad-to-be can be seen trying to set off the smoke, when it suddenly explodes, revealing a blue colour.
Thrown backwards he looks pretty stunned as he puts his fingers in his ears, no doubt trying to get rid of the ringing left from the big bang!
And while all's well that ends well, we definitely won't be using smoke bombs for our next gender reveal!
