A mum in Missouri was left feeling a little put out recently, when a driver behind her became impatient after she stalled at a drive-thru for too long.

However, rather than retaliate in an aggressive way, the mum-of-three decided to do something a little nicer.

Tiffany Jenkins is the mum behind Juggling the Jenkins blog, and she recently took to her Facebook page to share an incident that happened while she was out getting food.

Explaining, the mum said that she was in line at a drive-thru when she turned around in her seat to retrieve a toy her daughter had dropped. While doing this, Tiffany missed her cue to move off and the person behind was annoyed, to say the least.

"The lady behind me acts as if I have ruined her life completely," the mum said in her video.

"She started slamming on her horn and throwing her hands up. And I was, like, looking and she's, like, mad. Like, foaming at the mouth."

And while Tiffany jokingly said that she got out and punched the woman in the neck, she actually did something a little nicer.

"When strangers I don't know are rude to me or cut me off or don't say thank you when I hold the door open, I don't take that personally," she explained.

"I just remind myself that they are going through something that I know nothing about. They could possible be leaving a loved one's funeral, on the way to the divorce attorney, they could be in the middle of a custody battle ... so instead of retaliating to get some kind of justice, I try to be as kind as I possibly can."

So what did she do?

"Here's my thought process, okay? She's going through something this morning, and if I would have tried to get out of the car and give her a hug it would have been super awkward. So I just bought her coffee and I left, because life is really short."

Fair play to Tiffany, what a great way to handle the situation.
